Manages the everyday logistics of the Research Scholarship Course including scheduling, communication with students and faculty, and material preparation, resulting in positive evaluations from both students and faculty.
Works with internal and external faculty and administration to assess Course needs, implement improvements, and meet HWCOM and LCME requirements.
Planned and executed three successful HWCOM Research Symposiums, overseeing the collaboration and cooperation of individuals within and outside of the Department.

Laboratory Assistant - LSU Digital Imaging & Visualization in Archaeology Lab

Created and painted 3-D molds of archaeological artifacts using 3-D scanning and printing equipment in order to establish a virtual record of fragile artifacts for future research and to recreate broken or incomplete artifacts.
Assisted with the transcription of field journals, completion of bio-archaeological dental charts, and the creation of artifact displays.
Preserved, cleaned, and sorted valuable archaeological artifacts.
Sorted mangrove sediment samples for radiocarbon analysis.

2012

Intern - NYPD Forensic Investigation Division

Assisted forensic pathologists with autopsies by taking photographs of trauma and weighing and cataloging organs.
Participated in clandestine grave location, retrieval, and excavation practice using buried deer.
Identified, cataloged, and cleaned various skeletal remains of both forensic and historical importance.

Founder - David F. Woltering Dominoes Tournament

Created, plans, and hosts a yearly dominoes tournament which raises funding and awareness for Parkinson’s research
Works with a local elementary and high school to spread understanding of Parkinson’s disease and foster an environment of service through volunteer hours.
